The Estimating Summary acts as the homepage for the Estimating module, and contains information on viewing, reviewing, and publishing Estimates, as well as giving Users access to Estimate Utilities.


Availability

Users that have any of the Estimating-related Permissions active will have access to the Estimating Summary.

Page Elements

The Estimating Summary menu is organized into two tabs: the Details tab and the Utilities tab. 


The Details tab has three sections:

  1. My Recently Viewed Estimating Packages
    • Displays the 5 most recently viewed Estimating Packages, sorted by the date and time that it was last updated. (Viewing Estimates is controlled by a Permission.)
  1. Estimating Packages to Review
    • Displays the top 5 open Estimating Packages to Review. (Reviewing Estimates is controlled by a Permission.)
  1. Estimating Packages to Publish
    • Displays the top 5 open Estimating Packages to Publish. (Publishing Estimates is controlled by a Permission.)


The Utilities tab has three sections:

  1. Updating Estimate Rates
    • Allows you to update the Labor and Burden Rates for all Estimates in Draft status.
  1. Updating Estimate FTE Hours
    • Allows you to update the FTE Hours for all Open Estimates. Only needed if you change your Financial Calendar.
  1. Unlocking Estimates
    • Unlock Estimates that have already been marked as Approved.
