The Updating Estimate Rates utility updates all open Estimates to reflect updated Labor Rates and Burden Rates. Without this utility, each Estimate would have to be updated individually to reflect Labor and Burden Rate changes. This is useful in the event that Rate Tables are updated after Estimates have already been created. 

Availability

Only Users with the Update Estimate Rates Permission or the Task Estimating Administrator Permission will have access to this function.

Page Elements

The Update Estimate Rates page has the following page elements:

• Status Codes to Update
• Lists the available Estimate Status Codes you can select for updating rates
• Estimates to Update
• The number of Estimates that will be updated, based on the selected Status Codes

How to Update Estimate Rates

1. Select one or more Estimate Status Codes that you want to include in the Update process

• As you select/deselect Status Codes, the Estimates To Update indicator will change

2. Click the Update All Estimate Rates Now button to refresh all Estimates rate tables in Estimates that match the selected Status Codes

• Clicking Cancel will bring you back to the Estimate Utilities menu.
