Timesheet Periods
The Timesheet Periods function on the Timekeeping Modules Settings page of the Admin > Settings Page is available to manage the Timesheet Periods that are used with the Timekeeping Module functions. Administrators can add new Timesheet Periods, edit existing Timesheet Periods and delete Timesheet Periods.
Availability
Only users with the Portal Administrator, Timekeeping Administrator or Manage Timekeeping Settings permission will have access to this function.

Timesheet Period Maintenance Functions
The following functions are available when performing Timesheet Period Maintenance
- Adding a new Timesheet Period
- Add a Range of Timesheet Periods
- Editing an existing Timesheet Period
- Deleting Timesheet Periods
Properties of a Timesheet Period
A Timesheet Period has the following properties:
- Name
- Start Date
- End Date
- Period Hours
The Timesheet Periods List
The Holidays list displays the Holidays that are configured and assigned to the iSite License. The list will display the following information:
- Holiday Name
- Holiday Date
- Last Updated
How to Use the Timesheet Periods List
- Click on the Timesheet Period Name in the list whose information you would like to edit.
- Use the Filters to limit the Timesheets that are displayed in the List based on the criteria in your Filters.
How to Add a Timesheet Period
- Click the New Button in the toolbar and then select New Timesheet Period.
- Fill in the appropriate information in the Properties section of the page.
- Click the Create Timesheet Period button to create the new record or click the Cancel button to abort the creation process.
How to Add a Range of Timesheet Periods
- Click the New Button in the toolbar and then select Range of Timesheet Periods.
- Fill in the following settings:
- Timesheet Period Calculation
- Fixed Number of Days in Each Period
- Semi-Monthly (1st through 15th and 16th through End of Month)
- Monthly (1st through End of Month)
- First Timesheet Period Start Date
- Days In Each Period 1
- Create Timesheet Periods Through This Date
- Period Hours Calculation
- Calculate per period
- Use static value per period
- Hours per Weekday or Hours Per Period 2
- If Period Hours Calculation = "Calculate per period" then specify the number of Hours per Weekday
- If Period Hours Calculation = "Use static value per period" then specify the number of Hours per Timesheet Period
- Click the Create Timesheet Periods button to create the new record or click the Cancel button to abort the creation process.

How to Edit an Existing Timesheet Period
- In the Timesheet Periods List, select the record to be edited by clicking the Timesheet Period Name.
- Fill in the appropriate information in the Properties section of the page.
- Click the Update Timesheet Period button to update the record or click the Cancel button to abort the editing process.
Deleting Timesheet Periods
Deleting a Timesheet Period is a permanent change and cannot be reversed. Proceed with caution.
NOTE: You cannot delete Timesheet Periods that have Timesheets already created against.
How to Delete a Timesheet Period
- In the Timesheet Periods List, select the record to be deleted by clicking the Timesheet Period Name.
- In the Timesheet Period Maintenance page, click the Delete this Timesheet Period... button in the toolbar.
- In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected record or click the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.
The selected Timesheet Period will be permanently deleted from iSite.
How to Delete Multiple Timesheet Periods
- In the Timesheet Periods List, click the check box next to each record that you want to delete.
- Click the Delete Timesheet Periods... button in the toolbar.
- In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected records or click the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.
The selected Timesheet Periods will be permanently deleted from iSite.
