There may be times when a user forgets their password and cannot logon to iSite.  Because iSite encrypts passwords with a one-way encryption algorithm, passwords cannot be retrieved.  Thus, passwords can only be reset.


How to Reset a User's Password

  1. Navigate to Admin > Security > User Maintenance.
  2. In the User List, select the User whose password is to be reset by clicking the User name.
  3. Click the Reset Password... button on the toolbar.
  4. Choose Yes (recommended) or No on whether the an email should be sent to new user with their new default password.
  5. Choose Yes (recommended) or No on whether the user must change their password at next logon.
  6. Click the Reset Password button to update the user profile or click the Cancel button to abort password reset process.
