The Labor Subclasses function of the Lookup Tables section on the Datawarehouse tab of the Admin Page is available for Administrators to manage Labor Subclass Codes  used in the estimation of Labor on a Task Estimate within the Task Estimating module.


Administrators can add, edit and delete Labor Subclasses using this function.


Availability

Only users with the Portal Administrator, Task Estimating Administrator or Financials Administrator permission will have access to this function.

Labor Subclass Maintenance Functions

The following functions are available when performing Labor Subclass Maintenance:



Properties of a Labor Subclass

A Labor Subclass contains the following editable properties:


  • Labor Class Code
  • Labor Subclass Code
  • Labor Subclass Name
  • Teammate Code
  • Grouping Code
    • Used for grouping Labor Subclasses together by a common value within an Task Estimate Export


The Labor Subclass Code List

The Labor Subclass Code List displays the Labor Subclass Codes that are defined for the iSite License.  The list will display the following information:


  • Labor Class and Labor Subclass
  • Teammate Code
  • Grouping Code


How to Use the Labor Subclass Code List

  1. Click on the Labor Subclass Code in the list of the Labor Subclass you would like to edit.
  2. Click the Labor Subclass and Labor Subclass Code column header to sort records by Labor Class and Labor Subclass.
  3. Click the Teammate Code column header to sort records by Teammate Code.
  4. Click the Grouping Code column header to sort records by Grouping Code.


Filtering the Labor Subclass Code List

  1. To narrow the list results, enter a value in the Search box on the Toolbar then click the icon or press the Enter key. 
  2. Click the icon in the Search box to remove the filter.


Adding a New Labor Subclass

  1. Click the Add New Record button in the toolbar.
  2. Fill in the appropriate information in the Properties section of the page.
  3. Click the Save Record button to create the new record, click the Save and Add Another to create the new record and stay on the screen to add an additional record or click the Cancel button to abort the creation process.


Editing an Existing Labor Subclass

  1. In the Labor Subclass Code List, select the record to be edited by clicking the Labor Subclass Code.
  2. Fill in the appropriate information in the Properties section of the page.
  3. Click the Save Record button to update the record or click the Cancel button to abort the editing process.


Deleting Labor Subclasses

Deleting a Labor Subclass is a permanent change and cannot be reversed.  Proceed with caution.


Deleting a Labor Subclass

  1. In the Labor Subclass Code List, select the record to be deleted by clicking the Labor Subclass Code.
  2. Click the Delete This Record... button in the toolbar.
  3. In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected record or click the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.


Deleting Multiple Labor Subclasses

  1. In the Labor Subclass Code List, click the check box next to each record that you want to delete.
  2. Click the Delete Selected Records... button in the toolbar.
  3. In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected records or click the Cancel button to abort the deletion process.
