Deleting Users
When choosing to Delete Users, iSite will decide if the User is deleted from the iSite User Database or just from the current iSite License. If a User is assigned to more than one License and you choose to Delete that User, then the User will only be removed from the current iSite License. If a User is only assigned to the current License, then deleting the User will remove the User from the current iSite License and the iSite User Database.
Deleting a User is a permanent change and cannot be reversed. Proceed with caution.
How to Delete a User
- Navigate to Admin > Security > Manage Users.
- In the User List, select the User to be deleted by clicking the User Name.
- In the User Maintenance Page, click the Delete this User... button in the toolbar.
- In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected User or Cancel to abort the deletion process.
If the User is not assigned to any other Licenses, the selected User will be permanently deleted from iSite.
If the User is assigned to other Licenses, the selected User will be deleted from the existing License, but not from the iSite User Database.
How to Delete Multiple Security Groups
- Navigate to Admin > Security > Manage Users.
- In User List, select the records to be deleted by clicking the check box next to each User that you want to delete.
- Click the Delete Users... button in the toolbar.
- In the confirmation message pop-up, click the OK button to permanently delete the selected records or Cancel to abort the deletion process.
If the Users are not assigned to any other Licenses, the selected Users will be permanently deleted from iSite.
If the Users are assigned to other Licenses, the selected Users will be deleted from the existing License, but not from the iSite User Database.
