The Lists Advanced Settings tab contains the settings that control Item-level Permissions as well as Item attachments for the List.

The Advanced Settings tab contains the following components


  • Item-level Permissions
  • Attachments


Item-level Permissions

Item-level Permissions allows you to specify the read and edit access for Items in the List.  


How to Control Item-level Permissions

  1. For the Read Access option, select one of the following settings:
    1. Read All Items
      1. Allows the user to read all records in the List
    2. Read Items that were Created by the User
      1. Allows the user to read ONLY the records that the User created
  2. For the Write Access option, select one of the following settings:
    1. Edit All Items
      1. Allows the user to edit all records in the List
    2. Edit Items that were Created by the User
      1. Allows the user to edit ONLY the records that the User created
    3. Create Only
      1. Allows the user to create records, but not edit records
  3. Click the Update List button to update the Item-level Permissions information or click the Cancel button to abort the process.

 

Attachments

Attachments allows you to add related documents to a record in a List.


How to Control Attachments

  1. For the Enabled Attachments to List Items? option, select Yes.
  2. Click the Update List button to update the Attachments setting or click the Cancel button to abort the process.
