The Active User Sessions function on the Security tab of the Admin Page is available for Portal Administrators to view Users who currently have an active session in iSite.  This is useful in instances where a system change needs to be implemented and you want to know who to contact in the event that you need users to logoff the system.


Availability

Only users with the Portal Administrator or Manage Users permission will have access to this function.


Navigation

Admin > Security > Active User Sessions


How to Use This Page

  1. Navigate to Admin > Security > Active User Sessions.
  2. In the Active User Sessions List, select the User profile to be viewed by clicking the User name.  See the Users topic for more information.


The Active User Sessions List

The Active User Sessions list displays the following information:


  • User Name
  • Email Address
  • License
  • Session Information
    • Session ID
    • User Agent (Browser) Information
  • Current page URL
  • Date and Time current page was loaded


Filtering the User List

  1. To narrow the list results, you can click on a Letter in the View section.  Clicking a letter will only display users whose Last Name begins with the selected Letter.  
  2. Click the All Users option to remove the filter.
  3. Letters that don't have any matching Last Names will be colored light gray.


Send an Email to a User

  1. To send an email to a User in the list, click on the email address of the desired User.  This will open the email program on your computer and will fill-in the email address automatically.
