Custom Attributes
What is a Custom Attribute?
In iSite, a Custom Attribute is a function that gives the ability to extend properties of iSite objects. For instance, iSite has basic properties for a Task. However, there may be information about a Task that you want to capture that iSite doesn't store. To solve this problem, you can create a Custom Attribute for Tasks. Once you create a Custom Attribute, now each Task will retain the value of the Custom Attribute as if it was a base property of the Task itself.
How do I manage Custom Attributes?
When Custom Attributes are present for an object, they are usually displayed in a section called "Extended Properties". Simply enter values into each Custom Attribute and iSite stores that value with each object as if it was a base property. Once the Custom Attribute is defined,
